Ontario Curriculum Connections:

TVOKids Tee-Off is a great way to learn all about angles and force while playing a super-fun game of mini-golf! Each of the nine holes represents an area of TVOKids. Play as "Tumbleweir", and try your "putting" luck at the Time Trackers and Reading Rangers holes!  This game meets many expectations in multiple grades, one of which is:

Math: Geometry and Spatial Sense

Compare various angles using concrete materials and pictorial representations.

At-Home Activities:
  • Go play some mini-golf with your child! Use the scoring terminology, and vocabulary like "force" and "angle" during the game.
  • For a rainy day activity set up your own mini-golf course, using cups lying on their sides as the holes, and different obstacles like books, and toys. All you need is a putter or two, and a few golf balls!
