Lots of great activity sheets for you to print up and do!
- Sit with your child while he/she is selecting the activity to print out, to ensure that it is at his/her level.
- Your child may need your help while doing some of the activities (such as the Origami, or the flip book), so make sure that a grown-up or an older capable sibling is around to help.
The Activity Book's pages are full of opportunities to explore origami art and complete colouring pages of TVOKids personalities. This game meets many expectations in multiple grades, one of which is:
The Arts: Visual Arts
Creating and presenting: apply the creative process to produce a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional art works, using elements, principles and techniques of visual arts to communicate feelings, ideas and understandings.
- Your feedback is instrumental in your child's education! While he/she is doing the worksheets, make sure to provide lots of positive reinforcement. For example, simple lines such as "That looks great!" or "Way to go!" go further than you may realize. Helping your child build up his/her confidence is one way to help them on their road to being good students in the future!
- While your child is doing his/her worksheets, do some work as well! Even if you are a stay-at-home parent, do an activity like writing in a journal, or reading a book next to your child, while he/she is doing an activity page.
